Recently, Capcom up to date Resident Evil Village to take away Denuvo DRM from the sport. It would appear that Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 additionally obtained updates just lately, mysteriously eradicating ray-tracing options from each remakes.

While the removing of Denuvo from RE Village was a welcome change, the removing of ray-tracing from Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remake is a little more puzzling. The concern was initially noticed by u/pmc64 on the PC gaming subreddit, displaying the removing of ray-tracing options within the graphics menu for every recreation following the newest patch.

In this case, the DX12 variations of every recreation are getting used and may have entry to ray-tracing, as each titles launched with RT results in place.

Capcom has not addressed this concern publicly, so we have no idea if this transformation was intentional or a mistake. Given that the information is beginning to do the rounds although, we’d anticipate some type of response and maybe a repair quickly.

KitGuru Says: Hopefully Capcom can tackle this quickly as there appears to be no motive for the removing of ray-tracing.
