PS4 Scene developer Lapy has launched a brand new piece of homebrew: PS4 Player 3D is an MP4 Video participant with help for 3D Videos. This is a primary launch after all so it comes with limitations (it solely helps MP4 information for now, for instance), however this can be a very promising device and I’m hoping we’ll see some updates down the road!
What is PS4 Player 3D
PS4 Player 3D is a Homebrew software for the PS4 that allows you to play 3D film information, at the moment supporting the MP4 format. It leverages PSVR (however this isn’t a requirement) for immersive 3D help.
- 3D video participant with VR help (not required)
- Copy your 3D movies to a folder named 3DVideos on a USB or in /information.
- The app can robotically configure your playback, in the event you add one among these strings to the video file title:
- _180 (for 180º movies)
- _360 (for 360º movies)
- _TB (for TOP BOTTON movies)
- _LR (for LEFT RIGHT movies)
- _EQU _CUB _EAC
- Example: Delicious Fight_LR.mp4, Night Sky_360_TB
