Orion and the Dark Teaser Trailer, Poster Show Off DreamWorks Animated Movie

After releasing varied photographs of its latest movie, Netflix and DreamWorks have launched an Orion and the Dark teaser trailer, previewing the upcoming animated movie.

The upcoming DreamWorks Animation movie is about to star Jacob Tremblay as Orion, Paul Walter Hauser as The Dark, and Werner Herzog in an unspecified position. The trailer provides a quick preview of each characters, in addition to the artwork model followers can count on within the film.

What is Orion and the Dark?

“Orion appears so much like your common elementary college child — shy, unassuming, harboring a secret crush,” reads the synopsis. “But beneath his seemingly regular exterior, Orion is a ball of adolescent nervousness, utterly consumed by irrational fears of bees, canine, the ocean, mobile phone waves, murderous gutter clowns, and even falling off of a cliff. But of all his fears, the factor he’s probably the most afraid of is what he confronts on a nightly foundation: the darkish. So when the literal embodiment of his worst concern pays a go to, Dark whisks Orion away on a curler coaster trip world wide to show there’s nothing to be afraid of within the night time. As the unlikely pair grows nearer, Orion should resolve if he can study to simply accept the unknown — to cease letting concern management his life and eventually embrace the enjoyment of residing.”

Orion and the Dark is directed by Sean Charmatz (Trolls World Tour) from a screenplay written by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind scribe Kaufman. The latter beforehand labored with Netflix for his directorial characteristic I’m Thinking of Ending Things again in 2020. The story relies on the novel by Emma Yarlett.

The CG movie is govt produced by Walt Dohrn and Bonnie Arnold, with Peter McCown serving as a producer. It hails from DreamWorks Animation with Tim Lamb set because the manufacturing designer and Christine Bian as artwork director.
