Square Enix has been doing an excellent job in recent times bringing their older Final Fantasy titles as much as trendy requirements. Alongside the main remakes resembling what we now have seen with the likes of Final Fantasy VII, the writer has additionally remastered its older Pixel styled entries amongst others. One of the extra attention-grabbing initiatives is Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis. Mere hours following its launch, the sport has already surpassed 3 million downloads.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is a mobile-focused compilation of the traditional Final Fantasy VII alongside its many spin-offs (Advent Children; Before Crisis; Crisis Core and extra). Having formally launched on the seventh of September for Android and iOS, the free-to-play sport has already amassed an excessive amount of downloads, with Square Enix taking to Twitter to say:

“Thank you a lot! We’ve reached [sic] surpassed 3 million downloads! To have fun, we’re giving out one other Blue Crystal x1,000 to all gamers! Have enjoyable enjoying FF7EC!”

It is attention-grabbing to see Square’s present technique for Final Fantasy VII, with consoles being handled to AAA remakes/reimaginings of the primary sport alongside barely smaller finances remakes/remasters of its spin-offs (resembling what we now have seen with the PSP title Crisis Core). It’ll be curious to see whether or not choosing a free-to-play gacha model of FFVII for cell in the end helps or hinders the traditional JRPG. for now at the very least, it appears to be a hit.
