“No, sadly no… No reality to these rumours”, Nolan chuckled when requested if Bond can be his subsequent undertaking in an interview with AP Entertainment.

While the thought of a Nolan-helmed 007 may simply be essentially the most long-lasting hearsay in Hollywood, the publicity vacuum supplied by the current actors and writers strikes and a scarcity of apparent route for Barbara Broccoli and co to take the franchise after No Time To Die have supplied loads of oxygen for the rumour to develop.
