We’re off to Germany with Cherry’s new in-house keyboard: the KC 200 MX. With this new reference, the model is showcasing a 104-key keyboard geared up with the brand new, revised MX2A!

KC 200 MX: a brand new 104-key keyboard from Cherry!

Cherry KC 200 MXAs we mentioned, this new keyboard is a 104-key reference. Its dimensions are 430 (W) x 121 (D) x 39 (H) mm. As for weight, this keyboard weighs in at 830 g, regardless of the presence of a brown anodized steel plate.

Internally, the model opts for its new MX2A in-house switches. As a reminder, these are literally an overhaul of current fashions, with manufacturing facility lubrication. Likewise, the form of the spring has been modified, as have a couple of different little touches right here and there. As for sensations, the model presents its MX2A Brown (tactile) and MX Silent Red (linear and silent).

Otherwise, we’re coping with a traditional keyboard with a 1000 Hz polling price and 1 ms latency. N-Key rollover and anti-ghosting are additionally current. Finally, there’s 256 kB of inner reminiscence for macro recording. There are not any backlights.

The value will likely be slightly low, coming in at €90 for a French model. However, it’s solely a matter of days earlier than it hits our cabinets.
