Samsung has simply formally introduced some main offers signed by its chip manufacturing division. After a chaotic episode with Nvidia, Samsung is about to regain a foothold within the manufacturing market by signing offers with AMD and TESLA. According to some leaks, AMD might be adopting Intel’s technique up to now for its future Zen 5c-based processors and APUs. These will use a hybrid configuration, with TSMC engraving the chiplets containing the cores and Samsung dealing with the I/O chip. This is a course of that AMD has mastered, because the controller of its CPUs is at the moment in 6 nm and the cores in 5 nm… But the entire operation is carried out at TSMC. An operation which might subsequently require logistics between service suppliers.
