“Wednesday” is shifting manufacturing from Romania to Ireland for Season 2, and is tentatively scheduled to begin capturing in April, Variety has confirmed.
The eight-episode first season, which initially debuted final November on Netflix, was shot in Romania from September 2021 to March 2022. After breaking a number of streaming collection data, together with most hours seen for an English language collection in its first week with over 341 million hours, the horror comedy collection was renewed for Season 2 in January.
“Wednesday” follows Jenna Ortega because the titular “Addams Family” character, who enrolls at Nevermore Academy.
