Two extra lacking British sitcom episodes discovered

Two extra lacking sitcom episodes have been discovered: one that includes the nice Erik Sykes and the opposite a car for Hugh Lloyd and Terry Scott.


Just a few weeks in the past, it was reported that misplaced episodes of Til Death Us Do Part and Hancock’s Half Hour had been discovered.

Now,  it has been introduced that two extra sitcom episodes, lengthy since believed wiped, have been found within the assortment of a deceased non-public archivist by the organisers of the Film Is Fabulous! conference along with Leicester De Montfort University’s Television and Cinema Institute. The episode that has been found known as New Year’s Resolutions from collection three. It first aired in 1964.

A 1966 version of BBC drama Mogul was additionally found. All three prints might be returned to the BBC for digitisation shortly.

There are at the moment no plans to display screen or launch the episodes on house media.
