Fortnite launched the primary hotfix for Season 4 earlier this week, introducing the brand new Shield Breaker EMP Grenade, Sticky Grenade Launcher and extra Reality Augments.
Shield Breaker EMP
Throw down a Shield Breaker EMP to wreck enemy Shields and briefly disable electrical methods like cameras, turrets, and laser grids. But be careful throughout your base escape, as Shield Breakers EMPs may carry autos to a cease.
Find Shield Breaker EMPs from the bottom, Chests, and Heist Bags.
Sticky Grenade Launcher
So your theft makes an attempt aren’t sticking the touchdown. No massive deal — use the Sticky Grenade Launcher to fireside projectiles that stick on surfaces! These projectiles will explode after a brief delay, damaging close by enemies and buildings.
This new weapon will be discovered from Chests, Holo-Chests, Heist Bags, a flying drone, or claiming a POI.
New Reality Augments
Explosive Surplus
When explosions aren’t sufficient, add extra explosions. After activating the Explosive Surplus Reality Augment, you’ll immediately achieve rocket ammo, and containers you open will all the time have rocket ammo. Combo the rocket-ammo-using Sticky Grenade Launcher with this Reality Augment to be a fiery drive to be reckoned with!
High Voltage
Activate the High Voltage Reality Augment to immediately achieve a Business Turret and Shield Breaker EMPs. With this Reality Augment activated, eliminations you get will grant extra Shield Breaker EMPs.
Storm Chaser
Also thinkable as “Storm running-away-from-er,” the Storm Chaser Reality Augment reduces the quantity of Energy drained whereas sprinting. The drain might be much more lowered within the Storm.
If chasing the Storm (or relatively, operating away from the Storm) isn’t a thrill sufficient, the Roaming Redeploy Reality Augment has been unvaulted. Gain Glider Redeploy everytime you achieve immunity to fall injury!
Competitive Notes
- The Sticky Grenade Launcher and Explosive Surplus Reality Augment will not be included in tournaments.
