Wes Anderson’s comedy-drama Asteroid City is ready in 1955 and stars Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, and lots of extra as a part of its big ensemble solid. As with all of Anderson’s eccentric and quirky movies, you both vibe with the director’s model or simply don’t get it and by no means will. The A.V. Club’s Murtada Elfadl writes, “Anderson builds beautiful worlds. They are full of such element that there’s all the time one thing to marvel at. Yet narratively Asteroid City doesn’t absolutely come collectively. It stays a wonderful artifact however, regardless of a couple of moments of resonant storytelling, is just too simply forgettable.”
