Nine will display Frozen Planet II in early April, eleven years after the primary sequence by Sir David Attenborough look into life on the North and South Pole.

Filmed in ultra-high definition, the cameras seize new animal behaviours, shows of intimacy and sensational pure spectacles, for the very first time. This six-part sequence is an opportunity to expertise the surprise of our planet’s frozen realms in opposition to the backdrop of in the present day’s local weather change.

Made by BBC Studios’ world-renowned Natural History Unit, co-produced by BBC America, the open University, Migu Video, ZDF and France Televisions, this debuted internationally in January.

Presented by Sir David Attenborough, this documentary sequence observes the wonderful species that thrive in these freezing frontiers, and captures the wildlife dramas that play out within the coldest elements of Earth in our excessive mountains, frozen deserts, snowbound forests, and ice-cold oceans.

The Arctic and Antarctic are the final true wilderness areas, locations so desolate and unforgiving that solely a heroic forged of animals can exist there. From polar bears to penguins, Siberian tigers to snow monkeys, every species should overcome distinctive challenges to outlive their excessive environments.

As temperatures proceed to rise by international warming, elements of our frozen planet are vanishing earlier than our eyes. Frozen Planet II reveals the true affect on each wildlife and people, and speaks to scientists who’ve devoted their lives to understanding these local weather modifications, and what they imply for the world.
